my girlfriend took my hand up her shirt for the first time on our date a week ago. this is the first time i have been there with any lady. of course i was nervous and trying to be respectful so i didnt do much. Ladies, any tips on what you would want?

Don't worry, girls actually like it when you take things there when they are in the right mood and of course if its the right guy. In your case, I believe that your the right guy, so it's probably ok. Do it with love, and try to have a feel if she likes what you're doing or not. If she does, take it further if she doesn't take a step back.
You should do it really slowly (coz most women doesnt like to rush things). Also, try kissing(sweet kisses) her neck and her collar bone while ur doing it. there is nothing wrong with having some eye contact with her while doing it, so from time to time look at each other to see if she agrees on what you're doing. If you have to, you should learn how to unhook her bra with one hand. Try to take it off, of course check if she agrees. Then, try to kiss your way to her breasts. Do it as slowly and sexy as you can, coz delaying it will make them crave for it (I think). If its ok, give her gentle and slow licks
I believe that they'll like that.
Of course, try to be as gentle as possible. and dont force your way into her.

Dude just ask her what she wants or try things out and then gauge her reaction to find out if she likes what you're doing. I could give you more info but I don't want to be the reason this question closes down. I agree with the other dude you are a lucky bastard. Proceed with caring and understanding and emotional tenderness. You know all that generic advice like that. I'm assuming that you'd already do that and all you needed to know was the spots to hit or technique.

If she took the initiative to do that, she was letting you know that she feels comfortable taking a step forward physically in the relationship. It wouldn't be a bad idea to talk to her about it and ask her if she would like you to touch her, etc. differently than in the past. As a girl, I know that it makes us feel pretty when our boyfriends want to be physical. Keep being respectful but don't be afraid to try new things as long as you're both comfortable.

She wants some more. This is hard, but you need to be confident and still respectful. Try going farther, but not quick. Keep it romantic by kissing gently and giving a massage and then slowly do more, if she seems to be bothered, take it back a step

Don't GRAB OR SMUSH THEM!!!! DO NOT GROPE HER!!! Just be gentle because they are very soft and should be treated delicatley, but at the same time you can be firm because they will not break.
Basically just soft and firm, if you can understand that (carress them), and rub around her breasts alot, don't JUST pay attention to her nipples.
