at your age, im pretty sure thats gonna be impossible by summer time (unless you grow 5 inches). just walk as much as you can. thats gonna be your best bet.
just try eating healthier too. Only 2,000 cals a day, and no greasy/ fast foods. Eat lots of fiber too. its slower to digest and you will be less hungry too.

There are lots of good diet plans you could try out. I know that the south beach diet works well. Also you could get a membership at a gym. The best and most healthy way to lose weight is through a combination of diet and exercise. Also something to remember is you should only lose around 2 - 3 pounds per week, or else the rest is usually water-weight.

Honey, you are 12, and dieting should be the last thing on your mind. However, some tips I'll give you: Stop eating between meals. Cut all pop out of your diet - use diet if needed. take a daily multivitamin. Drink PLENTY of water. Things such as jump roping, sit ups, or any other activity that gets your heart rate up for about 20 minutes a day is certainly healthy.
In summary, just eat healthy, plenty of fruits vegetables, and water, cut out snacks, no pop, plenty of water, and bits of activity. No need to starve yourself, because that does not work well, and is very unhealthy.
I'm sure you'll be just fine!

WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT CRASH DIET! That is the main thing. Your diet seems like it has become an issue, any foods that are high in fat and sugar and calories should be taken off your diet. FOr instance, Pop, chips, cookies, McDonalds, anythign like that. And don't snack between meals. And make sure you are getting all 3 meals in a day. It has been proven for girls to gain weight for skipping breakfast. Also getting a daily routine of exercise for baout 20 minutes a day really does help. Walking does not do anything unless it gets your heart rate up and you begin to breathe heavier. Definnetaly get your heart rate up running, or something like that. In your case the ebst thing to do would be to do jumping jacks for 1 and then rest 30 seconds and then do them again, and continue that for another 10 minutes. Then switch activities to like jump roping, and do the same thign for the other 10 minutes. Getting your heart rate up burns calories. When you crash diet you are not getting any calories but it harms your body because your body is not getting the vitamins and minerals it needs. When you eat healthy low-calorie foods, like grains and fruits, and vegetables, and protein, and milk, this gets the body what it needs but does not exceed the bodies limits. Eating a lot of foods like between meals makes your calorie intake go up, which is not healthy. You can go to www.mypyramid.gov to find a daily intake chart that you can print out to keep track of what you eat, this helps you find what to intake less of and what to intake more of. This helped me! Hope it helps you! Email me if you need any help on this. ;D

The best advice is to consult your Dr. You need to be careful at your age that you don't create damage to your system. By dieting, you can rob your body of what it needs.
I would suggest writing down everything that you eat and the size of what you are eating. Then I would take the journal to your Dr. and ask to see a nutritionalist. This is the safest way.
Without consulting a Dr. and doing this on your own, you may find that you crash diet and afterwards gain back more weight later one. Be smart and really make a plan to track your consumption of food and the excercise that you do and then take that to your Dr. for his or her assessment.
Good Luck!!

Your only 12. All you need is watch what you eat and exercise.
Give it some time...If your only eat small amounts and no junk food (candy, chips, ect.) you will see a change. But it will not happen fast. Remember you didn't put on the weigh over night so it takes longer to take off. Good luck.
