Can a person die of a broken heart? Can they just give up and eventually die, even if it is before their time.

idk, technically yes. Human brain has absolutely amazing powers, as we all know. if a person truly and completely believes that they are sick or dying, than they just might.

Your mental health can be a very important part of how you feel physically. They have recently learned that depression affects the body as well as the mind so I do believe a person can have a broken heart to the point of making themselves physically ill. As for dying..no I don't believe you can actually will yourself to death.

its the stress that comes with Trauma, eventually over a period
of time you can cause serious damage to your body by constant
worry or if you want to say "WILL" and yes Death may Follow !!

sure people have done it they give up eating,
being sad over a women does not kill and everybody gets over it eventually
the best remedy is to find another one
the heart does not really break ,its a mental condition

Well...no. they can become self destructive and hurt themselves and maybe die from the injuries, but no... you cannot just make yourself die from being miserable. That's too easy. Nothing's that easy.
