She's a few months younger than me; she's smart, funny and pretty. I seldom talk to her, and we're "just friends". If I want her to like me more (or to lose some fear), what do I do?

There's never an easy solution to that problem. Many relationships are the result of chance. Chance usually hits you when you least expect it.

The funny thing is that she might be contemplating the very same thing about you. If she's single and seems to give you that look at times (you'll know what "look" I'm talking about when you see it), then ask her out! Timing is key though. Plan a good date as well, something more elaborate than dinner and a movie. The planning might give you the confidence you need and help shake some of that nervousness.

Good luck man...
