SCENE, Crime SCENE.

The jury can only see what the judge allows them access to. If s/he prohibits them from going to the crime scene and one of them does anyway, they can be removed from the jury and can be charged criminally for violating the judges order. It's the same as when the court orders jurors not to read the newspaper or watch the news, or discuss the case they're sitting on with anyone.

Sometimes a jury is taken to see a crime scene so they may better understand how a crime happened. There is no conflict of interest.

I don't know what case you're talking about but jurors are often taken through crime scenes if the judge decides it's necessary in order fro them to understand the crime.

A jury member can see the crime seen because there is no prohibition.
