That is horrible of your friend to do that. And why would she even consider moving someone in that she doesn't even know and someone she met from yahoo answers no less. Talk to your friend and try to get him to do the right thing here and not try to use the poor girl. If all else fells send her an email and let her know what your friend is up to. Yes he is your friend and all, but you can't go on and let this girl ruin her life.

first off, her leaving her marriage should have nothing to do whether she has a "replacement" or not.

that said, she shouldn't leave her marriage jsut cus she met some guy online. believe me, i act a lot different online sometimes then i do in real life. it's weird, like sometimes people are totatlly different people.

i recommend not meeting at all, but if she must she should meet him for lunch in a PUBLIC place (starbucks, cafe) and w/ a friend like u

be careful-tell her not to give to much info. --you can never be too careful these days

plus-he could be really ugly or a jerk; worse, he could be an abusive man

You are not smelling a rat, rats are better than that. Your friend should have more common sense than that, no matter how vulnerable she is.

Ask her what she knows about him. That might help her to think straight. Good luck.
