Good question. I really had to think about it, but I think I'd give up alcohol. Meat is so versatile and is something that I use more often than alcohol. Also, i think low fat meats have more of a health benefit than alcohol.

Although, don't get me wrong, I'd be sad without my beers and my gin and tonics.. and martinis..

Alcohol

Of the two it would have to be alcohol. I can go months without having a drink now and don't really miss it but I am a happy meat eating girl. Going the rest of my life without a good barbecue, nice juicy steak, perfectly roasted duck or my extra beefy enchiladas would be entirely too much for my brain and body to process.

I've already given up meat and I drink so rarely that it wouldn't be difficult to give up alcohol too.

Id say alcohol. I love beer, yea Beer!! But I like that primal satisfaction I get when I tear into a rib or a nice rare steak too much to give up.

I'd give up meat. Steak isn't a very useful coping mechanism, and you won't fall behind in your career because you order veggie burgers.
