I took the Acela Express from Boston to NYC. It was totally awesome. It took about 4 hours. and costs like $95. i rode first class or business class and got my meal served to me at my seat instead of having snack car stuff. I believe we made one stop in New Haven, Connecticut.

Amtrak runs all passenger trains between Boston and New York. It'll cost about one hundred dollars. Maybe less. I hadn't heard of any high speed rail between here and there. The northeast corridor is slow going, especially when you get around Providence. But maybe it has changed. It has been a long time since traveling by train to NYC.
