i tried my best to make soft idlies(south indian dish).. but cud not
please help me get soft idlies.....

Here is how to make healthy idlies:
Chef: Anita
Ingredients: 1 cup rice
1 cup urad dal
1 cup green gram
1 inch ginger
2 tbsp pepper corns
a pinch of heeng
2 tbsp jeera
3 carrots - grated
1 bunch of coriander leaves
salt - to taste

Method: Soak the rice and dals seperately overnight or for atleast six hours.

Grind green gram coarsely and urad dal and rice to fine paste along with ginger, black pepper and heeng.

Mix everything together add salt and allow to stand overnight.

Add grated carrots, chopped coriander leaves and prepare idlis.

Serve hot with coconut chutney.
Enjoy!
