I have come up with these items:
100% whole wheat bread
100% juice
Smart balance spread
Fruit (apples, bananas, oranges, pineapple)
Carrots
Low fat ranch
Low fat cottage cheese
Low fat string cheese
Skim milk
Breakfast bars (fiber?)

I really would like some advice as far as a good breakfast bar or something that I can grab on the go that possibly has fiber?

Thanks for any advice it is much appreciated as I begin my new lifestyle.

Great start!
I would add:

*Vanilla/chocolate flavored soy milk (Silk or Trader Joes is best).
It keeps forever, and tastes like ice cream, AND without the animal fat.

*Dried fruits and nuts (it keeps longer and travels better).

*Bottled water (for when you go to class. Recycle the bottles after a day to preclude bacterium issues).

*Peanut butter and jelly (GREAT comfort food for long hours of studying in the dorm/apartment.

Have a Nice Semester!

In college I always had popcorn, pickles, blueberry bagels, and diet hot chocolate. Quaker Rice Quakes in Ranch are yummy snack. As for Fiber, carrots, apples, and there are granola bars out there with fiber.. they will advertise that on the front of the box. Quaker Oatmeal to go (oatmeal bars basically).. they are a good source of fiber and they come in new microwavable pouches so you just throw in to warm it up.

GREAT start already!

Just watch out for low fat or fat free, as they usually still have a lot of calories, and artificial sweeteners.

Breakfast bars that I really like are Quaker On the Go Squares (I think) they are yummmmmmy and have about 5 grams of fiber.

They just came out with Fiber One bars. Haven't tried them, but they do contain fiber. I personally like Nature Valley crunchy granola bars. They contain suger, but are whole grain. Also, low fat yogurt could be a tasty but healthy addition to your list.

Peanut butter - very filling and has protein which you need. Special K has some pretty good breakfast bars that are healthy. Nutri-grain bars are pretty good also. It is really hard to remain on a diet in college! Good Luck.

refrigerator has frozen pizza and cake, alongside with television dinners and frozen hockey pucks. Pantry / cabinet is stacked because it is likewise a cabinet for booze I drink at room temp. refrigerator is merely approximately finished, albeit not as prepared as i could like it. Gonna paintings on that.

My mother buys Nutri Grain Breakfast Bars, and I like them.
You can also put veggie burgers.

try yogurt as well. also, what about some muesli (for high fiber breakfast) and maybe some canned tuna (for protein)? some tea would be nice also for days when you just wanna relax. i also like ricotta cheese. nuts would also be a nice snack (brain food).

It's good that you're staying with healthier food...it's sooo easy to gain weight when you go away to school. I would also suggest wheat thins and pirate's booty. Pirate's booty is an all natural, no preservative delicious snack. Good luck.
