It could probably be argued that nearly everyone is too judgmental ... albeit a few saints who are moving close to perfection.

Isn't judging evangelicals for being too judgmental a bit hypocritical? I am no longer Christian although I was raised one but I don't think evangelicals as a whole are any more judgmental than any other group. I think that people have individual encounters with judgmental people that belong to a certain group and then attribute their attitude to the entirety of that group, and that can cause problems. It is difficult to get away from this pattern, and I will admit in the beginning of my post-Xian days that I did the same thing.

Yes. Actually there is a difference between "evangelical" and "fundamentalist" and I like others ofter lump them together. Anyone professing to be a Christian who tells people that they are going to hell because they are gay, or not a "born again" type of Christian, or that other mainline Christians are not "real" Christians and all of the other stuff that you hear on this board are being VERY judgmental. We are to Love, not judge. But I have the bad habit of judging those who judge, so I am not much better.

Evangelicals take sin seriously and know the word more. They care more for God's opinion than being loved by men. Therefore, it looks like more judgement. This was spoken by David T above and this is true....I agree totally

Everyone is.

Evangelicals take sin seriously and know the word more. They care more for G-d's opinion than being loved by men. Therefore, it looks like more judgement. Really, nobody should judge. Rather live by an example of what G-d can do. That takes more patience and dedication, not many like that option. It doesnt sit right with human flesh.

Blessings

The only reason why Evangelicals cling to the "Word" is because of their lacking in faith. They always fall into self-righteous hypocrisy trying to imitate Christ or in another words, play God. They think they are holier than thou and they stink with religion. Too much religion encourages evil.

all christians are judgmental. that's because they are the greatest of hypocrits. they say but don't do, they say don't but do. their hypocrisy knows no bounds. mass murder for god is their history, mass destruction for god is what they do. then they say mass, or whatever some call it, to lay claim to how good they are. the only good thing they are is hypocrits for god.
