I have found that most of the "serious questions" on here do not have "right answers", Mr Troll.

You might think you are right, but perhaps you disagree with others or perhaps you did not articulate it effectively.

I will mark people down even if I agree with them if they come across as crass, ignorant or offensive. Not that you are necessarily any of those in your responses, but it might provide a reason for the negative feedback if you were excessively helpful or sweet about something...

Don't worry about it, I don't understand peoples reasoning either.
I've had thumbs down to answers I've spent ages on and thumbs up to answers I've considered to be sloppy and sarcastic!
It all depends on the intellect and humour of those that read the answers I suppose.

I guess that's what it's about people who feel like they don't agree with your answer show it by giving you a thumbs down it's happen to all of us I'm sure but it's their opinion.

Once you are up to a certain level you can rate peoples answers..I reckon alot of people put thumbs down on every one else's answers to a question he/she has answered, so that they can get the 10 points! Let them, it will bring them nothing!
LMAO..

Some people give the thumbs down response simply for their own amusement. They are the real trolls.

There is someone called the thumb-down gremlin, who gives thumbs-down for the sheer delight of it (you can almost hear the wicked petty laughter)---and then there are people who can't stand to see a different opinion. Giving thumbs-down for opinions is down-right dumb, really.

Yeah, I'd like to know how many thumbs downs it takes for a question to be removed.

This is a place where opinions are to be voiced....answers usually implies what we think here...not what is necessarily black and white. Clearly, if you got the thumbs down, someone disagreed with you. Don't sweat it! I am sure there will be plenty of opportunity on your end to do major 'thumbing'' ;)

Some people don't like reading the truth.

I think some people are simply stupid, maybe jealous.
