Back on 1/8/2007, I noticed Lion of Judah describing the various lines of attack he tries to use to convert people. Curious to see how they played out, I sent a message to him expressing that I was interested in this plan of attack he described. I said flat out something to the effect of, "So, I place my foot in the bear-trap. I state unconditionally that all gods, Yahweh included, do not exist." I tried to be polite, because I was actually and honestly curious. It seemed like a chance to open a dialogue.

His response was:

Subject: Re: Plan of attack...

Message: You have hardened your heart already, and as such has made up ypur mind in advance.
The only way you can stop me is to kill me, and we all know you leftist athiets have no stomach for war so goodbye, I do wish you all would try.and give people like me an excuse.

Does this seem very Christian to you? In what way?

Um, Lion of Judah is a rather violent and aggressive user here on R&S, who claims to be a Christian but sends messages around like this it would seem.

Wow. I'm sure Christ would never have composed such a hateful message.

His is a "religious" answer. He is bound up in religion and has not a clue. If he could only understand that it was "religion" which nailed Christ to the cross, he might turn from his wicked ways and be healed.

It's been known to happen though. The Apostle Paul turn from it. One can only hope this Lion of Judah person will do the same.

This is not the way the Christians want to be represented. I'd say Lion of Judah has been exposed.

I believe this entire episode is within your mind because none of it is supported by the Word of God, and God always acts according to His Word. The only part with which I might agree is that you seem to have hardened your heart against God

It seems like a Christian fundaMENTAList response. The message of Jesus's universal love seems to be lost on him, like it seems to be lost on way too many Christians. People that are so convinced they are right and aren't scare the heck out of me. He wants to commit murder to show how much Jesus loves you - he doesn't "get it" at all.

It does sound very *Christian*, not Biblical though.
