My viewpoint is that there is no Satan. The following is what I base my belief on:

1. I believe God is perfect. God therefore creates and only creates perfection. If God created something that is not perfect then the idea of God being perfect would not be truth.

2. God is supreme. Nothing is above God. Therefore I do not see it with logic that God would permit the characteristics that may describe the devil to challenge his creations.

3. I believe in what it is said regarding "free will" which means when one chooses to maintain a personality and conduct actions that may differ from love. This is the choice of the individual and to cast blame for ones actions on a devil is simply using a scape goat approach.

4. The devil was created by man and is one of the illusions concepts of ideas held in belief by many today. Actions that are referred to as being other than moral is the actions of the individual choosing to use the devilish mind. Not from a separate identity.

Basically temptation is choosing to ignore what is considered an individuals truth and what I mean by truth in this text is what is considered to be an act of maintaining behaviors that represent the qualities of divinity.

I trust the Bible as truth. The Scriptures indicate that the creature known as Satan did not always have that name. Rather, this descriptive name was given to him because of his taking a course of opposition and resistance to God. The name he had before this is not given. God is the only Creator, and ‘his activity is perfect,’ with no injustice or unrighteousness. Deuteronomy 32:4 Therefore, the one becoming Satan was, when created, a perfect, righteous creature of God. He is a spirit person, for he appeared in heaven in the presence of God. Job chaps 1, 2; Revelation 12:9 Jesus Christ identified him as “…manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him.” See John 8:44 and 1 John 3:8
Jesus here shows that Satan was once in the truth, but forsook it. Beginning with his first bad act in turning Adam and Eve away from God, he was a manslayer, for he thereby brought about the death of Adam and Eve, which, in turn, brought sin and death to their offspring. See Romans 5:12
Throughout the Scriptures the qualities and actions attributed to him could be attributed only to a person, not to an abstract principle of evil. It is clear that the Jews, and Jesus and his disciples, knew that Satan existed as a person.
So, from a righteous, perfect start, this spirit person deviated into sin and degradation. The process bringing this about is described by James (1:14,15)
The original serpent, deceiver, the Tempter and father of the lie.

Anyone that doesn't believe in Satan, clearly doesn't believe in God . Satan is real and so is God . I feel the reason people don't believe is because they lack the knowledge and the wisdom of God . The Bible says " My people perish from lack of knowledge" Hosea 3:6 . In this scripture he is not speaking of knowledge that you go to school for or knowledge that you are taught but spritual wisdom , which only comes from God." If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." James 1:5

I shall ignore your atrocious spelling and punctuation, because the question is interesting enough to answer. I seriously have my doubts about ghosts. Wolves do exist. There is no doubt about this. Vampires are a legend. While I have never seen any credible evidence of Aliens, logic dictates that given the size of the Universe, and the extremely small size of the Earth, or even the Solar System, the chances of life springing up here alone is astronomical. I am sure the Universe is teaming with life. Therefore, I do believe in some sort of Alien being. Weather we shall ever have contact with them is another matter, again given the size of the Universe.

Of course that's real. The whole notion of Satan was made up in the church to scare people is a 100% lie. And for those who say he ain't real keep thinkin that and let's see where it get's u. U also got to remember that God is the creator of EVERYTHING, so y would God create something that isn't real? Think about it.

Sure, there are a lot of people who don't believe in the Satan.

You have to realize that Satan is a Christian belief. So, in order to believe in Satan you have to take into consideration that there is also a God, since God created Satan.

So, taking that into consideration, Christians are more of Satanists than non-believers. It's an interesting paradox.

The Bible is very clear that Satan and his demons are real entities. Since God is the only One who would know for certain about these things, I choose to believe His Word, not the assumptions and ideas of man. The evidence of Satan and demons is all around us in this world. Wake up, people, and smell the evil.

Satan, demons, and evil spirits were made up by early christian leaders in order to scare children and roman pagans. It's brainwashing. The entire notion of Satan and hell contradicts everything the bible says about the "loving forgiving god who made man in his image and can never turn his back on his greatest creation." If you're a christian and you believe the satan stuff, you're basically disregarding the main scripture and practicing a corrupt's church dogma and scheme for cash (going to chuch and putting a dollar in the box means you're repenting!), it's like you're giving a huge slap in the face to your "sacred scriptures."

I don't believe in that stuff because I feel it is a cop-out for not taking responsibility for your own actions. Look at it this way, how much better did you feel as a kid when you could say (and have your parents believe) that "He/She did it, not me!"? For people who do not want to face the consequences of their actions, the idea that "Satan made me do it" is VERY attractive. But also childish. When people start to actually take responsibility for their mistakes, you will find that they will have less need for the excuse of "Satan".
