Remember the words of Christ when he said "Nobody can come to the Father except through me" That is very, very true. Jesus is the Son of God. Yes seperate bodies, but both are one in truth and spirit. They think alike and agree one the same things. Jesus said "Me and the Father are one" God is the Father, God the Son, (Jesus is the only begotton Son of the Father) and God the Holy Spirit, which means that God puts his spirit him those that come to faith in his precious Son Jesus. You have nothing to believe in. Christians do. Yes Jesus and God are very real, infact more real than you or I. Just because you have not seen, doesn't mean they do not exist. people often say I will have faith if I see, But you have to remember without you will not be able to see. The only way you will see is on Judgement day when you stand condemmed and found guilty before God, and you do not want to think of what will come next. I will tell you, you will be thrown alive into the lake the burns with fire and brimstone(ouch) for eternity. And eternity is a long time, it is forever. That my friend is what awaits you unless you are saved. You have to want to be saved first. Nobody will force you, you have to want it by yourself. And when you do, you will come in faith to the only one who can save you. Jesus has all athourity in Heaven and on earth. Jesus has the keys of Hell and Heaven and nobody can take them out or his hands. I do not know about you but before I became a Christian I felt a deep hole inside of me that needed to be filled. I was living in darkness. At the moment it may feel that you are living in darkness, in your spirit in other words, but Jesus being real and not made up is the only one that can bring you light. How do you know that Ceasor existed, How do you know King Herrod existed, How do you know that Julius ceasor existed? You were not there, so How do you know that they existed? Jesus existed, too and hi is alive today. It is called History. There have been so much proof for Jesus. and if you are looking in the wrong place you are not going to find the answers. Look at creation. The bible says a fool says in his heart that there is no God. How true that is. Unless you become a Christ lover instead of self and the world you will find yourself in torment one day. And if you do die without confessing your sins, as we are all sinners, and you except Jesus in your life, if you reject Jesus, he will also reject you, and you will end up burning for all eternity. Hell was created for the Satan and his angels, not for humans. But humans who disobay God will end up there.Trust God on that one.

Actually they're both quite real.
Anyway, you're right, they aren't quite exactly the same. But they both, along with the Holy Spirit, all work together as God. Basically it's like there are three different parts of the same guy. So it's not really that weird to say God saved you...because he sent Jesus...and thanks to Jesus...because he's the one who died for you. See? Makes sense. :)

Christians view Jesus not only as a prophet and the son of God, but as God himself in the flesh. Therefore, they use the terms interchangeably because in their minds, God the father and Jesus the son are two forms of the same deity.
Also, Jesus was not "made up". If nothing else, he IS a real historical figure.

Well it doesn't piss me off...but I will agree that it is confusing. When I was living as a christian I was always confused by that because I always seemed to get conflicting answers. I do however believe that a man named Jesus existed, and that he was a good man. He taught alot about love for fellow human beings. But I do not believe he was the son of god, or god, or the holy spirit. He was just a very humanist man who cared for others and wanted all people, yes I said ALL people to be treated with love and dignity. Did you hear that christians??? ALL PEOPLE.

You mean when people say that Jesus and God are the same as in the Holy Trinity? No. I'm not one to judge; besides realistically I am not God so I can't judge anyone else. Let people have their say and make it no concern of yours; you'll not be so angry.

Surely you do err because you do not know the Scriptures, nor the power of God. Humans are also a trinity -created in the image of God- for we are all body, soul and spirit, yet these three are one.

Sorry, but Jesus WAS real. Whether or not he was the "messiah" in the modern sense of the word is an entirely different matter. As to whether or not God exists, you have to start by defining what you mean by the word "God". If God is an invisible pink unicorn, probably not.

God the father and Jesus the Son are not the same, but yes separate beings they are. But what makes them what they are? Maybe there is something behind all of this. Energy can be defined in different ways, but there is one way that energy can be defined and that is the energy of the spirt, the holy spirit.
