Oh no, Nexium is not for dogs. Your dog needs to see a Vet for the proper treatment. If your dogs distress is causing you heartburn, please take Nexium in order to calm yourself from the apparent stress you are experiencing. But leave the dog's treatment to the Vet.

absolutely not. You should never give a dog human medication unless told so by your vet. You can cause more serious problems for your dog if he has an allergic reaction to the medication. Also it can cause bleeding in his stomach which can be fatal. Think of your dog as a baby, would you give nexium to a baby without talking to a doctor? No.

Nexium is supposed to be used and hour before you eat. I know that from personal experience. Is their a 24 hour animal hospital
near you?? They are usually helpful with their advise. Do you know what your dog ate? Investigate that. Maybe you could give her some tums.

Never!

If your dog is having stomach issues, wait until morning and call your vet. Don't give her human medication! You could end up turning a minor problem into a major one!

How long has he had the stomach distress? At his weight,it could very well be bloat, which is fatal if not treated. I think you should ask a vet first.

No, I wouldn't. You should never give your dog any human medication of any kind, until you check with your vet first. You may do more harm than good, if you do.
