Did I do something wrong?

I helped my sister buying a car, she put a down payment and I financed the rest for her, of course she makes the monthly payments on it. Obviously the insurance is under my name. Few months ago she hit the car, according to her it wasn't her fault, so I thought OK and I put a claim with the insurance company. Today she calls me and tells me someone hit the car again, while she was driving, it hasn't been not even 6 months. I told her I was not going to put another claim with my insurance company because it was risky and they could drop me. My father thinks I am mean, and my mother shows preference for her. I feel upset and it hurts, because they think that way. What should I do? I want to refinanance the car under her name. I have done enough.

id do the same. drop the insurance. its her car and she had the accident so she can pay for it.

See what dad says if you ask HIM to step in to the breach and take your place with regard to your sister and the insurance situation.
My guess is he and mom will decline. Dump sis from your responsibility before she gets in a serious accident which could ruin you for a loooong time financially.

first off you are a wonderfull sister to help her get the car.. but now she needs to stand on her own feet and start doing things for herself.. i think yes it would be a good idear to refinanace the car into her name.. ask your father if he thinks your mean would he put the car in his name ??? i think then he would have a diffrent view. good luck

you done the right thing...stick to your guns....why don't your parents help her...its their job not yours to help her...you do too much as it is!!!!!\
yes refinance the car under her name...get away from it all together....also the insurance...don't help with anything any more....stay away from that situation.....please....it will keep the family together longer...i pro mice....never lend family money.....
