before i actually liked her we argued online then she threatned never to talk to me again so i promised never to argue w/ her ever again she use to make this face like she was biting her tongue or something and she and i use to look at each other down the hall way now she doesn't do that face but she still smiles and billy joel's song "she's got a way" fits it perfectly "she's got a way about her i don't know what it is but i know that i can't live w/out her." i like her personality it's amazing but what's weird is i'm not her closest friend but i tell her congrats and thanks happy holidays etc how do i ask her out as well? thanks for answering

Just ask her if she wants to do something. Not a date. Just say, "Hey do you want to go down to the school and shoot some hoops with me?" Dates put them in a spot to make a decision right then. But a little fun with a friend makes it comfortable. And when you two are comfortable you can talk about other stuff. Just make subtle complements. The slowly ask her to do more stuff or go get a bite to eat. You'll pay of course. Just don't come on too strong.

Well, to avoid putting yourself completely on the spot, I'd try for a very very casual double date. I'm sure she has a best friend. Get one of your guy friends and just ask her if she and (her friend) would like to catch a movie with you and your friend. You could meet at the theater or whatever. If she likes you, you will know. If she agrees to get together for a movie then she probably is interested.
I hope this makes sense. I am a girl so I'm not sure what to tell you, but I know I'd be more open to a group outing or a double date if I didn't know the guy well.
