Loving someone means you're willing to give up other important things for that person. It involves sacrifice. It is an act of the will. When you truly love someone, you will do whatever it takes even if you embarrass yourself or have to be uncomfortable, cold, etc. It doesn't mean you constantly wait on the person, but you are willing to serve and you do it because the person is worth something very special to you. Crushes/infatuations "liking someone" feel(s) more intense than love but they/it should not be mistaken for love. It is based on idealism and not on reality. If you have both like AND love, then you are REALLY lucky and I hope it lasts forever!!!

Liking is stronger than loving... let me give an example. For instinence. A wife will always love her husband but she might not always like him. Sooo you'll know when you love him but you'll know it's true love when you like him... if that doesn't make sense contact me.

I think that the difference between liking and loving someone is that if you like someone then you like being around them and if you love someone you would die for them or sacrafice something.

The difference is between thinking they look cute in their undies and being able to pick those dirty undies off the floor and throw them in the washer....

True Love causes sparks to race through your trembling body. You won't know, however, your body chemicals will react. When both male and female have the first such reaction together its True Romantic Love.

If you just "like" someone, it won't really matter to you if you see them or not every day, whereas if you "love" someone, you want to see them and be with them as much as possible.

If you have to ask, it's not love. When it's love you just know.
