I get an offer from PC World and in the back page, there is a writing: "IMPORTANT: Your subscription may be tax deductible. Consult your accountant or tax professional."

Your magazine subscription can only be tax deductible if you require the magazine for professional purposes, such as you being a computer technician, software designer, journalist, or you work in advertising, etc.

You would have to be able to explain a business need for the magazine and then you could deduct as a business expense.

I used to be an independent computing consultant, and any subscriptions for professional purposes were, at that time, deductible (according to my accountant). I've been out of the consulting world for over a dozen years, so that may have changed by now. Check with your accountant to be sure.

Your subscription to PC World can't be tax deductible if you are going to have it for personal use. However if you are using it for a charity or local organization to help others, then the magazine is indeed tax deductible. Just remember anything that involves volunteering or helping others is almost always tax deductible (i.e. the gasoline it takes you to drive to a place to volunteer)

Good luck!
