He's still way to young to be potty trained. Take him outside to potty every half hour to forty-five minutes, and also take him out to potty after every time he eats and every time he wakes up from a nap.

A dog is not completely in control of himself until he is about 6 months old. That doesn't mean you shouldn't start potty training at a young age. Just don't expect too much of a 12 week old puppy.

12 weeks old is still very young. Puppies take alot of time, patience and proper potty training. It's not going to happen over night, it takes a while. You have to remember, he's just a baby, and he will have accidents. You can type, "How to train a puppy", in your search bar, and you will find everything you need to know about potty training a puppy.Just give it time, it will happen.

Try training a little later, like for a month more. Try using those potty pads and spray this thing that you have your puppy smell so she/he knows that's where she/he has to its business.

To start, make sure to take the pup to potty when it wakes up, first thing. Seems, like us humans, that's the first thing they need to do when they wake up. This is a start on the idea of where you want the dog to go-instead of the nearest carpet!

It's not a matter of if the puppy is ready, it's a matter of are YOU ready. If you are, here's the site to read: http://www.leerburg.com/housebrk.htm
PS - children are potty trained, dogs are housebroken.

It takes some dogs longer than others, they are like children. Just be consistent when you take him out, when he wakes up, after he eats, etc. and be patient.

PUT HIM ON A SCHEDULE AND BE STRICT ABOUT IT.. IN THE BEGINNING I WOULD TAKE HIM OUT EVERY HOUR.. ESPECIALLY AFTER HE EATS, WAKES UP, BEFORE GOING TO BED.. IT MAY TAKE A WHILE.. HE MAY HAVE MISHAPS FOR UP TO A YEAR.. EACH DOG IS DIFFERENT
