This isn't normal. Do you live with smokers or hang out with kids who do? Have you been sick?
I would definitely see your doctor to determine if what you are coughing up is coming from your lungs or if it is the result of sinus drainage. Phlegm shouldn't be colored unless you have an infection, so that is an even better reason to see your doc.

Your said the key word "sport induced asthma" Your body is reacting when you play the saxophone because you are exercising your respiratory system. It is very healthy that you play this instrument and your body is cleaning itself when you cough-up the phlegm. Keep up the good work.

That color of phlegm usually signals an infection. I strongly suggest you ask the folks to take you to see the doctor.

Talk to your doctor. Have him, or her, give you a check up. It could be allergies, but it might be more serious. Better to find out for sure then let it go before it gets worse.

i would say it is very likey that you do have allergies. Alot of folks have them without even knowing it. Continued sinus congestion and drainage can cause sinus and upper resperatory infections,,see your doc, a round of antibiotics will clear it up
