NEVER EVER use a heated iron on wet hair. It will burn or could really dammage your hair. Always blow dry your hair completely before using a hot iron.
Or, best of all, let it air dry so you don't over heat your hair and make it look and feel dry.

Definitely let it dry or blow dry it first. When hair is wet, the cuticle is softened and the hair it is more stretchy and easier to break. Plus, the water will boil you hair.
Always flat iron with your hair dry. Even regular wet-to-dry flat irons do more damage to hair.

i've got have been given today hair that waves relatively on the backside and in my opinion i stumble on blow drying works greater efficient for me. whilst i take advantage of a flat iron it purely maintains to be today for 2 hours or so till now it starts waving returned. yet blow drying units my hair for the full day.

It's not good for you hair to flat iron it while its wet. Do so when its dry, and use a heat protector product on it as you flat iron it.

Definitely after! You'll scorch your your hair if you do it before! Also, if time permits, let your hair air-dry instead of blowdrying it to reduce the chances of burning your hair. And don't forget to deep-condition or use a hot oil treatment once a week. :-)

always flatiorn DRY hair. your hair is at its weakest point when its wet. it is also very important to have product in your hair...(a heat protectant) it serves as a barrier between your hair, and the iron.

Flaten your hair when it's dried.
Only Straighten your hair with a straightener that is able to straighten wet hair.
