You will need to go to your doctor and have a heterophile blood test. The incuation period is about two weeks. But go now...he may be able to give your some gamma globulin to help your immune system. The symtpoms are extreme fatigue, nausea and sometimes vomiting, grey stool, itching, and in some rare cases, a yellowish skin......orange appearance to the white of your eyes, which is an end result when you develop hepatitis ....don't lt it get that far.

It will take a while after being exposed for your body to actually show symptoms. when i had mono for 6 months my first symptom was my throat hurting a lot. i was actually sitting and having a beer and thats when i first noticed it was very hard and painful to swallow. also, i was walking to class with only a spiral in my back pack and when i walked up about 3 stairs i had to stop because i was so exhausted. Good luck... hope you dont have it

Mono usually presents with sore throat (often with enlarged tonsils), fever, fatigue and swollen lymph nodes. If you develop these symptoms, your doctor can do a Monospot test to determine if you have this infection.
