No, it won't as long as you stick to your diet 95% of the time. As long as you don't cheat often you will be ok. I lost 40 lbs in 4 months by being VERY strict on what I ate, and even now I cheat every once in a while and I have stayed the same weight. You just cannot cheat a lot.

I live by the 90% rule. If I am doing the right thing for me 90% of the time - I can screw up 10% of the time and still make the progress I want to make.
You sound as if you have made a lifestyle choice to be healthy - why punish yourself by denying simple pleasures such as an occasional ice cream, or a pizza?
To answer your question - you will do nothing to your metabolism. In fact, there is some evidence to suggest that the occasional cheat will actually help you shed body fat.
The key is to not let it become a daily indulgence.

Just once a month? No way... that's fine. You could actually get away with a "cheat" meal or snack once every week-2 weeks if you wanted.
The ice cream isn't really a metabolism issue as more of a "quality calorie" source. Treat it like an ongoing reward for sticking with the all good diet for a week, 2 weeks, month... whichever you decide :)

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.
Plesae eat ur ice cream first and then the regular food. Eat only when u r hungry.

Fat does not make you fat. Foods that affect your insulin levels coupled with a high calorie source(such as fat) can make you fat. Frozen yogurt is one of the foods that spike your insulin, while frozen yogurt does not contain a large amount of fat, it does spike your insulin. Tofu is the same way.
No, your metabolism is very trainable. Because of your trained state your body will be able to get the most out of the nutrients in the ice cream that you dont normally get. If you really want to get the most out of it the sugar the dairy, the fat, the protein, indulge after an extra serious work out. It will make that work out that much more effective.
It is very important you dont loose track of it and say to yourself, i can handle ice cream maybe I can handle cake too, and let it slip away from you.
Look up "carb cycling" diets they actually use that principle to turbo charge a metabolism.

You are totally fine! Ice cream has no effect on metabolism!!!
If it's really that big of a deal to you - eat your ice cream once a month, but that day either eat 300 calories less of everything else or do something to burn 300 extra calories!!
