They are the best value--best price for what they can do. Only someone with perfect hearing can benefit from better ones, although it's true that the subs are not as good. Hard to get good subs.

Kenwood makes good amps, but you can get better subs in the same price range. Check out some other brands first.

Amps good, subs not so good. I had a Kenwood amp last me over 10 years. The subs suck though. Go with JL Audio.

To each is own....Im not a fan of Kenwood, Sony, Pioneer. Anything that can be bought at a best buy/ circuit city is of marginal quality. If you want the best you need to go to a car stereo shop and check out what they have. JL, Nakamichi, Image Dynamics, MB quart, Eclipse, Focal and Alpine(head units, speaker/amps suck). You get what you pay for.

get 2 hifonics brz2400s. Its alot more cost-effective and places out reputable skill. I actual have heard from those that alpine amps are unreliable as well. in my view alpine amps are puffed up for what their sound high quality is.

yeah im not really sure iv only ever had pioneer in my last car and at the moment iv got a fusion sound system. I have to say both brands are very good.
