I am looking for statistics on drug traffickers. I am looking for stats on how many end up as repeat offenders. If anyone knows any sites or statistics please inform me. Thx

While the DEA site can be useful, DOJ statistics do not distinguish between arrests for simple possession and those for possession with intent to distribute. If you analyze arrest patterns and seizure data, you find that most arrests are of simple possessors and low-level street dealers who don't have the ability to move large quantities of any substance. If the DEA was truly going after kingpins, you might actually see a reduction in annual amounts of drugs seized. Instead amounts of DEA seizures have increased 4 times over the last 20 years, with no demonstrable affect on price or purity.

Reliable data for re-offending is difficult to obtain for many reasons. My personal experience is that it is often high.
