First of all, do you get seasick? What about your family? Are you new to sailing/boating? Find out before you take another step.
Pros: It's fairly unique and intimate. You don't have to invite a lot of people. The setting is nice.
Cons: How small is small? It's hard to get good photos in a small yacht- the space is tight- and you're moving. Keep in mind, if you drop anchor, the boat will roll. Also, it could be pretty cold- again it depends on the yacht, place and time of day/year.

I was a guest at a wedding like this and I must say it was wonderful. Of course, the upsides are the uniqueness, views, etc but the downside is definitely the weather. A little rain could ruin your day. Same problems you'd imagine from an outdoor event.

If you know a lot of people who are always late for things, this could be a problem as they cannot miss the launch time of your boat.
Also if anyone has a medical condition that means they might suddenly have to leave the premises, they can't do so.
Depending on where you are, it might be very cold on the water in March.
Other than that I can't think of any cons. Go for it!
