Tonight she complained about her lower back hurting and having blood in her urine. She said that it started a couple of days ago!
She can't get into the doctor until Monday.
I am very worried about her!
Does anyone know what this can be?

If she continues to have blood in her urine GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM! It may be nothing, but it may be very serious. If you are concerned enough to post a question here, why are you not concerned enough to pick up the phone and dial 911? I hope it is nothing. I hope you go to the ER and find out it is nothing. But FIND OUT from a medical professional, not people on Yahoo!

i think of that's great which you have family members keen that can assist you. merely confirm that for the time of inquiring for help from them you do not enable them to make all of the thoughts or have the final say. Get some thoughts and then bypass with what you experience. "appropriate mom Ever" is sturdy... type call outfits at the instant are not a would desire to. additionally, each thing does not would desire to be type new. I save at thrift shops like Salvation military and Goodwill for all my little ones stuff and you'd be bowled over what number type call outfits you will hit upon in very sturdy situation for a greenback or 2. storage sales will shop you some money, too. while Colic hits, you could need to %. up some "Humphrey's # 3" that's a homeopathic (abode-treatment) drugs which will treatment abdomen aches, colic, teething discomfort, and many different issues toddlers be afflicted by. It does not require a prescription, yet you do would desire to ask the pharmacist for it simply by fact they shop it in the back of the counter. (i don't be responsive to why) sturdy success! Oh, and BTW: do not bypass to college of Phoenix on line. i'm attending there now, and am approximately to stop simply by fact the value outrageous, the instructions are a comedian tale, i'm not studying something i did not already learn in intense college, and that i've got faith like i'm getting ripped off! merely truthful warning. lots of faculties are transforming into on the "on line training" bandwagon. examine which includes your community faculties and notice in the event that they grant any degree courses on line. i'm approximately to bypass via my community college for nursing. they grant instructions on line, and you purely would desire to bypass to a real class as quickly as a week for clinicals. sturdy success!

Typical signs of a urinary tract infection. She can go to a drug store and buy cranberry pills and medicine to numb the pain until she can get to her doctors. It's very important for her to see the doctor so that the infection doesn't grow any further. She will need a prescription for antibiotics. She needs to drink all the water she can stand untill she can see her doctor.(to flush the bacteria out of her urinary tract)

Maybe a urinary tract infection. She should go in to Urgent Care, but the back pain suggests something wrong with her kidneys.

With the lower back pain, I'd say it's possibly a kidney infection. It can be treated with antibiotics, but you really shouldn't put it off.
