What does he mean when he says he wants a break? We have been dating for a year, and I broke up with him for a good reason over the phone one night, and didnt mean it, but i called him right back to tell him that i didnt mean it and i just said it, and he ignored my calls and i txted him and told him im sorry, then we were good the next day...he told me i relaly hurt him, and i knew that i had. But, i love him so much & he tells me that he loves me so much, and its been a week since this all happened, now he wants a break. His family is involved, they know everything that goes on in our relationship & they are all on his side. He tells me he wants a break cause we fight to much, and that he is giving me attitude cause he wants me to realize that he really wants a break...please tell me what he really means by this, or if he really still loves me and will come back to me, and what should i do during this break? go out and have fun?

Sounds to me that when you told him you were breaking up with him he was hurt and confused with all your games. He probably had decided he has had enough and does want to end it. It is really exhausting having a relationship with someone who you can't depend on emotionally. How you act and what you say has an impact on the other partner and you are unfortunately finding out that most people will only put up with it for so long.
As for you - use this experience to mature a little. No-one likes a relationship that is a battlefield. Think before you say things, consider the repercussions. Don't always be led by high emotion. You may not get back with this guy but at the very least perhaps he deserves a quiet apology. He may then respect you.
You don't sound like a bad person but you do sound as if you don't know whether he is what you really want. Good luck. Go out and have fun.

It means he wants a break from you so he can think about if he wants to be with you. He probably also wants to see if there are other girls out there interested, and if they are better than you are.
