Wow, i feel old now! That was such a big "scare" when I was a kid. We tried it out to see if we would really blow up: swallowed whole handfuls of the rocks, then chugged a coke. The only thing we "discovered" was it gave us enough gas to belch the muppet song and then I got sick!

Pop rocks? guy i have not considered or heard of those in years. those rocks fizz a lot and so does soda. If I were you i does no longer do it. What could take position is that once this concoction receives into your abdomen it is going to expand it simply by volume of air generated by using the pop rocks and the soda. So except you burp it out you are able to achieveable expand your abdomen to the point that it ruptures. A ruptured abdomen would not sound like a variety of of relaxing.

There is actually a "Mythbuster's" episode on discovery channel that shows an experiment on soda and pop rocks and you can probably watch the experiment online. It shows what would happen if you drank pop and ate pop rocks. It will not kill you... so don't be worried. It will probably just make you a little bloated and gassy or give you a stomach ache.

it's safe, my sister and i do this all the time, our fav. is coke and strawberry pop rocks. put some rocks on your tounge and then take a sip of soda and then wait for the explosion! it is fun and gives you a sugar high.

It makes the coke a little more "fizzy" and the pop rocks way more "poppy"!

the soda gives the pop rock a little more oomph....dont worry it wont break your teeth or anything...and there is absolutely no chance of dying.....youll be right.....
