It is fine but in small portions once in a while. too much coul cause stomach problems for a dog, you shouldn't feed your dog anything you aren't sure of. this is like the first smart question I have answered dealing with feeding dogs human food. Most people feed their pets something then want to know if it is ok afterwards. why don't they just ask before and be smart. Some dogs can be lactose intollerant, and cheese can cause a problem. It can also constipate them, especially older dogs. Some get horrible gas from it. Others do just fine on it. It depends on your dog. Cheese is used widely as a training tool. Dogs naturally love the smell and the taste. Plus it will give them a little added protein. So the answer is, it depends on your dog. If he/she can handle it, in moderation, there, in my experience, will be no problems.
