Where is the story of the fall of Lucifer in the Bible?

Question

Find for me the fall of Lucifer from the grace of God. The whole story with the hoard of angels that fell into the underworld with him...I can't seem to find it. Always seems to me that it was told apart from it. If that's so, what does that say about the story...

That's not really in the Bible. It''s an extrabiblical legend that Christians find useful and/or entertaining. It is inspired by a singular passage in one of the prophets, Isaiah or Ezekiel, mocking the king of Babylon as the morning star, which was called Lucifer. It did not then refer to the Devil-- just the morning star!

The Church of Jesus of Latterday Saints believes that Lucifer was our brother in heaven (before we came to earth) at first he was a righteous man but then he became evil and was not allowed in heaven. Along with him he took a third of the people who lived in heaven. Now satan is trying to tempt us here on earth so that we wont make it back to heaven. The third of the people that followed satan were not allowed to have bodies on earth and are also tempting us. This is scripture we believe to be translated by Joseph Smith off some papyrus called the book of Moses and the book of Abraham. Together they make the Pearl of Great Price. I would read it just to see what you think!
