I have a friend who spent $3000 on a MF bed and he has no regrets. Afterall, how much is a good sleep worth. If it makes you feel better each day it is worth a lot.
Even at $3000, over the life of the mattress it only works out to 50 cents a day and for the best sleep ever and feeling much better EVERY day - this seems cheap.
Now as with most people, it is coming up with $3000 for a mattress that hurts, hmm new big screen TV or Mattress? Vacation or matress?
Never spent that kind of money on a mattress, but as I get a little older, it does not seem like a bad place to invest some serious coin.

The main benefit of memory foam is to relieve pressure points. That is its only proven benefit. Pressure relief is linked to a deeper, more restful sleep.
A memory foam pad can do that but only in certain conditions:
* the mattress underneath is perfectly flat. If there's a sag in the middle, the memory foam pad follow that contour and be uncomfortable
* whoever is sleeping on it is of reasonable weight. These products are made for the average person and a heavier person may bottom out. Again, you won't feel the benefits.
* quality is also important. Thicker and higher density memory foam lasts longer. The real memory foam also responds to body temperature.

Definitely wonderful. I got my 4" memory foam pad at Walmart for $130.00 and it is worth every penny of it. Linens and Things and Bed Bath and Beyond give 20% off coupons so look there.

HELL TO THE YESS!!!!!!!!!!
I stayed at a friends house who had one.....HOLY $4!@!!!!!!!!
I could not believe the deep, peaceful, trance like sleep that i enjoyed that night. It was like nothing I have ever experienced.
I got a coupon for costco early this year, where they took $25 bucks off the $140 price, so mine was $115, and well worth it...
I Just bought it today, and i am waiting for it to unravel so i can use it!!!!!

Trust me, they are worth every penny; but before spending that much, go to Overstock.com; they always have sale prices on these. The one I got is 1 1/2 inches thick, which I thought wouldn't be deep enough, but it is!!!!!! once you try it, you will never send it back.........but do check that site and others for lower prices...a great investment for your sleep!!!!!!!!!1

Yes! We got one to put on our older guest room mattress and that bed is more comfortable than the one in the master bedroom (which has the "good" mattress).
