On spiritual therianthropy? Spiritual Therianthropy is a belief system that some people are the reincarnates of animals. This is the most basic definition of it. If I were to elaborate, I would tell about how animals being the reincarnates of people and animals into other animals and so on.

But the real question is, what are your views on the belief system. (ie, impossible, unlikley, very possible) and why.

Also, if your going to post anything about heaven and hell, then just wanted to let your know that nobody is really listening anymore

I am a follower of this belief system, and I do believe myself to be the reincarnate of a fox.

You'd be amazed how much your views of the world change when you look at it through the eyes of an animal

To those of you who speak of evolving spiritually, how could you attain the highest point without seeing it from every angle?

I would say unlikely but not impossible, although I've read that dolphins will take the forms of humans. Serious B. If that makes any sense to you. I believe in reincarnation, don't get me wrong, I just believe that when we choose to come here, we're learning our lessons to evolve spiritually...the hard knocks of life here and the vessels we're in. I couldn't imagine spiritually evolving being a dog or cat.

Take a look at a book called "Many Lives, Many Masters", and also "Twenty Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation". They're older, but quite informative and compelling.

There is a continuing and growing body of evidence to suggest that there really is something to the idea of reincarnation.

Personally, it fits in with what I believe, and it makes more than just a bit of sense.

I believe we have been all things ... animal, plant, mineral, etc.

Based on that, I believe we have been animals and continue to reincarnate until we reach the highest form .. the human body. I believe there are *rare* cases of transmigration where a human must reincarnate back into animal form because of extremely bad actions ... they go "backwards". Again that is extremely rare, but I believe it happens.

I could not even present a logical answer for this without getting alot of thumbs down, so I will quit while I am ahead. Crap, I have to add my thoughts now. I think its a persons beliefs and whether you agree with them or not. I have a cat that loves burger king. She will not eat McDonalds. Well, my best best friend who killed himself in 2001 hated McDonalds but loved Burger King. My cat is 3 now. I don't know if its coincidence, but since I want so much to believe that my dear friend is still here in some way. That to me is comforting. I don't rule mankind, so I cannot possibly give you a logical answer on this question, but a good question it was indeed.

It is my belief that we reincarnate but we always stay in human form. we don't go up and down "levels" in the animal world...So i believe that reincarnation is very real and blessing from God, it is more chances to learn all that we want. Life is a big lesson

I've never heard of Spiritual Therianthropy, but it sounds extraordinarily unlikely in relation to most tradition reincarnation theory...Usually the concept of reincarnation is the development of the soul, through lessons in various lifetimes...

In my personal philosophy, I've always considered various lifetimes to be human...

So that idea is interesting, though I don't think I agree...*smile*

I think we are reincarnated as we once were, not as a different species. I don't think cross species reincarnation would be possible, since each species thinks and reasons very differently.

Shalom,

You must first come to the understanding that man consists of two distinct natures. A upper one or heavenly one and a lower one which is also known as the earthly one. This is why in the Genesis it describes God creating man twice:

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

This is illustrating the creation of the heavenly self and then later the earthly self. While you are partially correct when you inquire about the transmigration of the soul into animals it's only partially true. Everything returns to its source of origination, so when a man dies his upper and lower nature are dispersed into their rightful element. His lower nature is dispersed into animalistic forms and his higher into the higher plane of realities where the soul works continues to work towards the object of absolute knowledge and prepares to transmigrate or better yet project a different personality into the material plane.

The majority of fundamentalists here will be unable to accept the doctrine of transmigration of the soul. Why? Because they do not understand the three fold self and the absolute objective of the soul or even a slight understanding what the soul is. Although before the Constantine corruption of the scriptures the teachings of the soul were highly common. To give you a better take of the reality of how the soul transmigrates, it can be clearly seen in the females monthly cycle.

The egg has the chance to be fertilized by the male sperm and if it is, it begins to transform into a fit vessel to be born into this world. And if it does not the egg drops and breaks and a new one is then put in its place for the next cycle. The egg is the personality because the personality is a embryonic image of the soul. The mother's womb is the earth and the male sperm is your soul essence. So when you take into account what I just said it would go like: If a individual fails to be cultivated by their soul self and begin to be taught by the true teach within, their bodies will fade and they will be reworked for the next cycle until they can be cultivated by their soul self to begin to transform into a fit vessel to truly be born.

Everyone is in embryonic stages of life until they become cognizant of their soul/higher self. The actual birth takes a course of countless lifetimes because realizations and self awareness needs to be made for the soul to reach the omega or absolute knowledge. But until this process is finished the soul will continue to be subject to transmigrating. As given in the book of Job:

'I am a wanderer, changing place after place and house after house, until I come into the city and mansion which is eternal"(Job 2:9)

Peace

Aza

Addition:

Wolf, mankind is a animal until he develops his higher aspects of mind. But you stand correct everyone has a animal nature similar to the outward projections of animals. But not as you think.
