Floyd Mayweather has never beaten a top-flight fighter and De La Hoya has ducked no one.

I hope that he dont just knock his *** out i hope he punish's him round after round just to show the world what a chump Mayweather really is, i would like to see Mayweather drag himself off the floor about 5 times before he finally gets KO'd for the 10 count in about the 8th, i dont think this will happen though in reality, this is just what i am hoping for. In reality i would think this is going to be a very close fight with two great technicians going at it for the full 12 rounds with the result being a razor thin victory to either fighter, i just hope with all my heart that it is Oscar who comes out on top.

To the answerer above (inthiscornerboxing), im not sure if you are trying to call "Sugar" Shane Mosley and Felix "Tito" Trinidad bums but if you are you are obviously not very knowledgeable about the sport. But then again most Mayweather fans are just people who have picked up a newspaper and read an article about Mayweather saying about how great he is supposed to be and believed him, not true boxing fans.

PEOPLE PEOPLE PEOPLE PLEASE STOP THE MADNESS. De La Hoya is not going to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. The Bronze B*tch may have never ducked anyone but he hasn't beaten anyone in a while. yes he beat an over confident Mayorga but he got whooped by Hopkins and beaten by Strum (even though De La Hoya got the decision GOD bless Las Vegas). On top of that De La Hoya's style that's he's most recently used in passed fights is called the Philly shell a technique that he learned from who....? Floyd Mayweather Sr. Mayweather Jr. uses it properly though and guards his chin with his left shoulder, De La Hoya does not he drops his shoulder which leaves his chin open for jabs or Mayweather's jab like straight right. De La Hoya will not win.

lets look at how de la hoya did against the last person he faced with speed and he lost both those fights. I agree Floyd wont hurt de la hoya but his fast hands and great defense will prove to be the deciding factors that give him a decision victory.

10 rounds and Mayweather will quit. Sugar Shane Mosley is another guy that would knock Mayweather out.

no way will oscar's slow *** beat down mayweather

look what happend to baldomir he couldnt even touch mayweather and he walked at 184 and fought at 147 so he can deff hit harder then oscar so oscar will fight 4 about 4 to 6 rounds then he will get slow and tired and will get beat. so there is no way that u can say PBF will loose to oscar no way in hells chance look at oscars record and look at floyds record compare the loosin row what is oscars like 4 and PBF 0

and even if floyds dad is training oscar then oscar will end up like floyd sr getn beat by one legend(floyd jr) and lots of bums (not includn b-hop)

(for the ignorent *** below me) no i dont just pick up a paper and read how great mayweather is i've seen all of his fights and i can say that is was my mistake to call mosley a bum but felix yes felix is a bum (your guna say somthn smart but just watch the wright vs felix fight and tell me different) but with your right that the fight will be very close and filled with action but (like you said)i hope that mayweather comes out on top

and for you to say that im not knowledgeable of this sport / boxing is all i do all day every day i pretty much can say that i live in my boxing gym cuz im in there almost every day from bout 4:30 to 9:30 so belive me my thought of the fight may differ from you but there is no way that im not knowledgeable of the sport of boxing

The "MOUTH" plans to try to win by fighting backing up. He will be too hard to hit to get knocked out. DLH will not be hurt be floyds power and will outwork him to get a split in the MGM the house that Oscar built.

As much as I would like to see Dela Hoya knock his arrogant a*s out, I think it will go to a decision in Oscar's favor.

I hope DelaHoya KO's him in the first round, however, let him punish him the way JC did when he fought Camacho. Someone needs to show Mayweather that he is not unbeatable.
