try a county hospital if you dont know where to find one call the local hospital andask them where one is located

Medicaid is for low income. You have to go to your SS office and apply for it. Medicare is for seniors unless you're disabled then you are automatically on medicare after a 24mth waiting period. I know this because I am disabled and that's how it worked with me.The hospital doesn't provide the card but they will ask you for your card. But, Medicare, Medicaid, Medical...you have to apply for them at your Social Security office.

No. Call your local social security administration and they will help you if you qualify for medicaid or medicare if you are 65 years of age or if you are disabled, and/or are financially in need They will set up an appointment for you. NO the hospital does not provide a medicaid card. You have to get those at your local FIA office or DHS office. They'll give you one if you qualify for state aid.

i think you have to get that card at the social security office.then when you go to a hosp ;they can put low income on your record;so you;ll get discounts on medications,,,,,
