Wow man, thats pathetic, kids worst fear is a parent looking at their internet page, DONT ASK HIM. repeat DONT ASK HIM

there obviously is a need for parents to be involved with their kids, but this is NOT the way. I'm pretty sure he won't say anything about it if you ask him, but he WILL be like wtf... (what the f***)? You could express your worries to him and say something along the lines of "sorry but I noticed this on your myspace...just wondering"

Now for the answer...As someone who spends way too much time online, G.W.K has never shown up, seeing as how it's next to his name, it's probably a nickname or inside joke.

Ask him. Become INVOLVED. Even if he does not live with you. CALL HIM AND ASK. THAT IS WHAT BEING A FATHER AND INVOLVED MEANS. Say to him," I don't want to seem uncool by not knowing the computer lingo", but what does G.W.K mean by your name.

P.S. I have a gay friend who uses G.W.M which means gay white man. I suggest you become involved in your sons life and don't judge.

I never heard of it, and it doesn't come up on a Google search. It's probably some very specialized slang that you wouldn't like, but will be no threat to anyone.

Don't listen to all these meanies! I understand your concern. Ask him. It shows you give a damn. If you are comfortable with his friends, ask them too. It's probably something slangy the kids at his school can relate to. And yeah, you may not like it but it won't be that big of a deal. If he chooses not to tell you, respect his privacy. Do you remember what it was like when you were his age?

I've checked urbandictionary.com (a slang dictionary) and google and found nothing. I think the most likely answer is that its an inside joke between him and his friends.

Ask him. And stop snooping around, it will only make him distrust you. Ask him, go ahead, ask him.
