I'm not introducing my kids to religion. If they want to convert, that's fine, but I refuse to be the reason that they would beleive in such... yeah.

You might conduct systematic research on the matter. I'm an atheist but every time I pray I get what is ask for. Keep in mind that I never ask the impossible and rarely ask the improbable.
Also, I have never had a day with bad weather; wherever I have gone, I have never experienced bad weather. Lots of variety but never bad weather.
Finally, I've never wanted to win the lottery. I actually won it once with a ticket I bought in southern Michigan but I never went to pick it up because if would probably have ruined my marriage, my sanity, my friendships and my health. I don't pray to win the lottery.
It's OK to pray, but just for sure things.
