I always find if I push my self into something afraid of it fixes a large part of my fear. Your just going to have to push your self into going to the doctor, what are you more afraid of talking to a doctor or being petrified with no help for life? Take the doctor whether your afraid or not they may have a way to make all your fears go away for good, take a friend along with you to hold your hand and push you through the door it's easier to have someone there with you that you trust than trying to take such a big leap alone

Ok your fears are quite small by comparison to some other peoples, and not only that, but they are quite common. There is not necessarily anything SERIOUS wrong with you, you are just being petty.

Anyone who continues to read the symptoms of various diseases or conditions over the internet, in a medical textbook, or that hears about them on a daily basis through television or from friends, will have to be mentally strong-like steel-to dismiss the possibility that they may have some of these symptoms, and in turn, possibly have that particular disease or condition. What I'm saying is that everyone is potentially a hyperchondriac; it is just a matter of what you continue to expose yourself to on a daily basis that may or may not provoke some level of paranoia. Obviously a medical doctor can put a label on your paranoia that has been created and prescribe you a drug that you have to consume every day, but I don't recommend this route.

As far as your needle-phobia goes, it is only a matter of sensitivity. Your sensitivity is sharp enough to tell you that you dont like being stabbed by needles. You may also be opposed to being stabbed by a knife or shard of glass. Nothing to get upset about, however, you may need to stabilize your mind.

Think your fears through logically. For example, a needle cannot hurt you, it is too small. It's not painful and there's no chance of it being painful. You're no different from other people. The needle didn't hurt them so it won't hurt you. You're not so different like you may think.

People with worry seem to assume the worst. Just assume the best and if the best doesn't happen, oh well, something could always, always go worse then it did.

Remember, fear is common. Don't worry about it!!!

I read a passage from a scifi novel. Its what i say when i am afraid. 'I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.' Fear is nothing, its just thoughts, overcome these thoughts, let nothing control your mind. Your mind will become clear, you will be able to face anything. BTW, i am not afriad of anything much...
