i have a thin vertical scar under my nose, no hair grows in it and it is red and shines more than the rest of the skin, it makes me nervous, i want to remove it...
i had made a surgery, the doctor removed the skin hoping that the skin will join over each other and make it dissapear but nothing happened except me losing money..... any suggestions?

There are creams available to lessen the noticeability of it. Or even just using cosmetic concealer will probably work if you use a good quality one, and get the right color to match your skin tone. Try going to a professional make-up counter in one of the big dept. stores. If you ask them for information, I know that there is a product that was invented specifically for use by people with facial scars, from burns, etc. I'm not sure of the name, but maybe they would know, or just do a net search for cosmetic concealers.

If it's red, it's still healing... it may continue to heal for a year or more... hang in there.
