Is anyone here a health care office manager or an administrative assistant in healthcare?

If so, how long was your formal education and how much do you make starting out and how long does it typically take to make "good money" if ever. Im talking about 55,000 or more a year

If you know anything about this please answer, I'm beginning to doubt myself as far as the major I'm taking in college and its scary because my daughter is already 5 and i don't have much time to change my mind.

Well I am an Administrative Assistant in a hospital and I DO NOT make 55,000 a year I can tell you that. I have a Associate Degree in Administrative Assistant. Maybe the manager makes much more but I sure don't. I like what I do but I hope to go back to school for nursing soon! Good luck
