I figured after all this time, his profile would still be online, and it is! In a way, I wanted to help him, and in another way, I wanted to get back at him. I know this sounds stupid, but I thought he was really cute, but he wanted sex on the first date, and I told him I wouldn't. He tried to convince me otherwise. Ok, did I screw up big time?

If you mean did you mess up but not agreeing to have sex, then no. It is your choice of when to have sex. Never ever feel forced to no matter what the guy says.
I probably wouldn't have suggested e-mailing him. However, if you did it nicely (no cursing or insulting) then it is fine.
My impression of the guy isn't that great. It was just your first date so I feel as if all he wanted was sex, and he shouldn't have tried to change your mind.

Somenthing similar happened to me ...
Don't feel sad.
Don't you even think you screw it up.
I don't think right now about my mistakes, which are many, or the chances i've lost in my life.
Just make a wish like i did. Wish that he is fine and happy.
Life always give us the chance to correct our mistakes. You will, as long as he.
No regrets for somenthing you didn't want to do.
