why can't a person 50 be on yahoo answers and questions? They need to get info also and also might give someone good advice as well. If they live in their Mom or Dad's basement maybe they had some hard luck come there way or they could be sick where they can't live alone or they could be there to watch out for the parent. But if none of the above except about being on questions & answers well then they do need to get a job and fine there own place.

No. For one thing, I didn't realize that there was an age limit on how old you had to be. I've noticed the older contributors can spell - eg: "loser and answers." How about showing a little charity for someone who's still living in Mom's basement---it beats living on the street! Maybe Mom needs looking after or needs the rent $ from the downstairs tenant. Could be lots of different reasons.

I am over 50 and I'm not a loser. I've been an educator my entire life both as a teacher and as a second career as a mental health/mental retardation specialist. I've taught all ages from 7 to 60. Now I am retired due to rheumatoid arthritis but I am still interested in learning new things and in sharing thoughts about things I know. I enjoy websites such as this because it keeps me in touch with others of all ages. If that offends you, I'd say you might be a loser yourself.

Do you mean are they a loser? Probably not. Perhaps they just care enough about the world around them to participate in it regardless of how old they are. Do you think that you become something other than human when you hit 50? Maybe a person would avoid some painful mistakes if they listened to people who were older and had more experience.

I would not, especially if he is paying for that space. He can help her out that way as well as many other ways as she gets older. He is there for her and she for him. As long as he's not married ,what's wrong with it and whose business is it ?? If that arrangement is fine with them, so be it.
Who am I to judge this man a looser at 50 because he is on Yahoo Answers. I am 76 , I'm on here, and I am no looser. I am happily married for 54 yrs., have 5 wonderful adult children and I am on here because I love to help people and I love to know that I can be helped. I'll bet he's a good son ! Make good husband !!

Being on Yahoo Answers and 50 y/o is not a loser, but still living at their moms basement when they are 50 >>> Yes.

A 30 year previous will ***** that their different halves don't understand them too. Btw, a 50 year previous will convey understanding and secure practices to the table, and the're not all previous bald coots. perhaps you're spectacular interior the incorrect places.

No, to the Yahoo! Answers; yes, to the mom's basement.

Depends on the circumstances. If someone is not working and sponging off of his elderly mother I say yes. If there were some extenuating circumstances (job layoff, death of a spouse) I would say no.
