Honestly...none of them can be trusted. Every channel has reported false stories that you will never hear the retraction on. Fox News is probably the best, but they are quick to report the stories before they ensure that it is true. The best bet...get your hands on the Army Times. Or talk with someone who has served. You will hear stories that will never make it to the news...

That's a good question. I tend to trust PBS news. One program in particular is the Jim Lehrer News Hour. They give a summary of the daily issues. At the end of most broadcasts a list of deaths with the pictures of the people are listed. I haven't seen any other newcast that does this on a regular basis. One thing that is disturbing to me is that they do not distinguish the difference between Afghanistan and Iraq, they are all lumped together. These are two separate conflicts, and should be recognized as such.
I don't know if it's been ordered by the government or what, but I think that casualties are grossly underreported.

Fox news is the only source I trust.
I was in Baghdad watching a supposed "live" broadcast on CNN about a firefight going on and when we stepped outside to go engage the "enemy" there was no firefight going on.

I watch a little of all of them but Fox is actually the most accurate. Do not rely on sites that are only interested in the gore.

Honestly... none. The best news you are going to get about what is going on in Iraq (I'm assuming that is what you are talking about) is to talk to someone that is there. There are plenty of websites that you can go to that will hook you up with a soldier to "adopt" while they are deployed, writing letters, sending care packages, emails, the works. That is the best way you are going to get information about what is going on there, not the media.

None, even public networks are somewhat biased. Fox will always give a conservative spin to everything, and CNN will do the opposite. Even local affiliates to national networks like ABC, CBS, etc have their own biases depending on where they are.

Fox News is the best if you want to listen to Republican talking points over and over again.

Fox News really does try to give a fair and balanced report.
Shepard Smith and Brit Hume are the best to watch. MSNBC is awful. they are SO far left it is ridiculous.
