We're in our 20's.

We hadn't seen each other for 5 yrs then started seeing each other again recently.

It seemed as though things were going great and we were quickly on the way to becoming bf/gf. I was over at his house the other night when the phone rang. He told the person on the other line that his friend followed by my name was over.

I was stunned when I heard him call me his FRIEND! When he said that, I felt like I could be a guy, a buddy, a pal.The thing is we don't act like friends. He treats me more like a girlfriend.

I really like him, but do you suppose he'll ever see me as more?

We've fooled around many times, but never had actual sex.

how can he treat you like a girlfriend when you guys are not even dating yet. i think you're rushing this a little bit. i could see if you were an actual couple but you don't go with him so there's no reason for you to get offended when he calls you his friend, which you are. and if you like him your best bet is to tell him how you feel, from what you wrote there's a big chance he likes you back.

perhaps now is the time when you should sit down and ask him how he views the relationship----what was your relationship like before? even if you are b/f g/f you can still be good friends--as a matter of fact I think and have experienced this to be true----and having a relationship is much more than simply fooling around or having sex-----communication is key!
