a local coffee house or if you both are into dancing...like a swing dance or something...but not like school dances...if you want to take a girl to one of those, she could say do you wanna go get coffee instead? go for it....that way you can both just talk and get to know each other in a comfy environment

It depends on the girl and on the place you live in. I would love to be taken on a very romantic date... for example, enjoying the view of a city from the highest point of it, or having a dinner on a boat, or going to a very special place... but remember, it is not the place but hte details and the person you are with the thing that matters. If you give her roses or something, she'll love that!!! Remeber that for us, women, those things make the day!! I would suggest that you watch the movie hitch, they have pretty good ideas!

I'm a hopeless romantic so I'll answer this one (i also happen to be a girl as well).
For most girls they enjoy a nice restaraunt and charming meal. Candle light, whine, etc, etc. If you girl is more simple and less materailist, she'll still prob-lee enjoy it alot. I've never known a girl that doesn't like nice dinners and good food (unless they have an eating disorder).

I know personally I preer to go somewhere public if it is someone i don't know very well. For te first date it could be something casual thing seeing a movie or meeting for coffee. Then later you could go to a restaurant and then go to the beach. There's plenty of crazy things you can do - go to theme parks together, zoos, museums, sporting events - it all depends on your budget and interests. Personally I love traveeling with my partner to go sightseeing - it can be very romantic. But personaly i prefer a man to be a gentleman and not pressure me into bed. Get to know each other first.

If the first date, no movies or dinner. Either your eating or watching and not getting to know this girl. Try zoos, marketplace or art shows to stimulate conversation.
