You don't have to keep her isolated completely. Human interaction is fine. You should have a place(whelping area) for her set up about 2 weeks before she is due, where she can give birth. Start introducing her to that area so that she can get comfortable with it.
However, interaction with other dogs is NOT recommended. Many dogs carry Herpes. It is not the same as human herpes. It is more like a cold in a dog. But, it is very contagious and can be deadly to the unborn puppies. So try and keep the pregnant dog away from other dogs. A dog can be a carrier even if there are no signs or symptoms.

She needs to stay isolated when in heat if you don't want pups, but after she is pregnant she does not need to be isolated.

No--once she's pregnant you just need to increase her protein in her diet and her food itself.
Isolating your pregnant dog can actually do more damage than good.

You won't need to isolate your dog while she is pregnant,but should feed her a high protien diet.Treat her as usual,but don't bath her in any medicated or flea shampoos while pregnant.The safest thing is the Dawn dish wasing liquid,but be sure and rinse her well.This will kill any fleas your pet may pickup.

iSOLATION CAN BE GOOD AND BAD 1 PUT THE "FATHER" DOG WITH THE "MAMMA" DOG PUT MAKE SURE SHE ALWAYS HAS MORE THAN ENOGH FOOD
