He is completly fine, don't worry. Unless it was bakers chocolate like they out in German Chocolate Cakes it will not hurt him, just make him hyper. My mini dachund ate a bag of m & m's. I freaked out and called the vet. They said it would not hurt her at all. Don't worry unless he starts acting very strange.

Hope your dog is feeling better!! The rule for milk chocolate is one once per pound, so if you dog weights 13lbs, he/she would have to eat 13 ounces of choc late to be toxic. The worst that will happen with a few cookies is GI issues, like gas or diarrhea, basically a upset tummy. If it was dark chocolate or bakers chocolate you would have a completely different issue, but he/she should be fine. Hope this helps, if you are still unsure you can call any local 24 hour emergency vet and they will give you more info.

According to my vet only pure dark chocolate such as baker's chocolate is bad. They have to eat so many ounces per every pound they weigh for it to affect him.

You do not have to make him throw up. I do agree though you should put the chocolate in a place the dog can't get to. Any sweets is bad because it can cause worms. But you dog will be just fine.

He will be fine. The other day my dog ate half a bag of semi sweet chocolate chips and she is fine. She has also eaten an entire bar of dark chocolate that was so dark I couldn't stand it and she was a little sick, but that was all. She does weigh 60 pounds, but I think your dog will be fine.

Some dogs do not have allergic reactions to chocolate. I have known dogs who have eaten chocolate and have not gotten sick. If your dog starts showing signs of an allergic reaction, take him to an emergency vet. Get the number out just in case. He does not need to go to the vet if he is not throwing up and acting sick.

it depends on his tolerance level , but for a 13 pound dog it's system probably can't take that much chocolate. but i have a dog around the same weight and he's eaten four oreo cookies before and he was fine, just keep a close eye on him and he should be ok. :)

Your dog is most likely fine. A few months ago my neighbor phoned me about her dog, who had eaten a lot of chocolate. She phoned the vet, and he advised her to give the dog hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting. I helped her to do that, and he is fine now. If you are still worried, then give that a try.

usually dogs can handle small amounts of chocolate okay. If everything seems fine now he should be okay. Just keep an eye out but he should be ok.

If you don't see any sign of distress soon after ingestion it's probably ok. Some dogs are fine with it while others it can be fatal. Kinda like human food alergies (ie. shellfish, peanuts, etc.

He should be alright; I know someone who gives their dog chocolate and there is nothing wrong with him. Chocolate is only bad for them in larger amounts.
