Your past is not held against you at the airport. Leave the guns and knives at home. Find out what you can and cannot take on the plane. Do not feel picked on if you are searched by security because even the most perfect people sometimes get this scrutiny. Good Luck!

In this day and age of computers, you never know.Especially after 9/11 theUS isn't as naive as it once was. But you can find out and try it.
I've seen a guy entering US through Niagara Falls crossing turned back bcs he had a problem with US law 15 years earlier.
Let's just hope that you don't have a drug record...

There shouldn't be a problem. Our government (U.S.) is doing nothing to stop the flow of Mexicans from entering illegally on our southern border with Mexico so why would they stop you? There are over 20,000,000 illegal aliens in this country from Mexico now. Americans are very upset over this but the politicians have all been bought off and refuse to do anything.

Depends on the crimes. I don't know what country you are from or if you are eligible for visa waiver, but if you are not your first step should be to apply for a visa. If you are from a country where, for a certain length of time, you needn't apply for a visa than I would probably contact your nearest U.S embassy, just to be on the safe side of things.

Visit the US Embassy's London website. There is a premium rate number you can call. No porn but you are serviced very satisfyingly! The Embassy itself does not take general enquiry calls.

You're from the UK., right? I do not think the types of offenses you described would keep you from getting a tourist visa. Hope you make it. You'll have a good time. We're really friendly and the countryside's beautiful.

Wouldn't have thought so mate, they let me in and i've got convictions in the past for criminal damage, assault, actual bodily harm, assault (again). Havent got any relating to theft though but I wouldn't have thought you'd have a problem. Contact the American Embassy and ask them, im sure they'll put you straight.

Yes, but you need to get a visa from the US Embassy before you go. If it's not for anything hugely serious, you should be fine.
